yoyo...back to blog again, just came back from Area 16 ATC which i somehow dun feel like going at the start but my point of view somehow change after coming back from the camp...there's good and bad things about this ATC which i'll try my best to type all out if i'm able to remember all the things tat happen...hahaha.
Day 1:
Initial plan was to go to New Town Secondary School (NTSS) to take their transport to Changi Jetty but in the end had last minute changes cos Leslie and JiaWei called and say they are going to Changi Water Venture so decided to follow them down together so didn't go to NTSS to follow the bus...so took MRT down to Tanah Merah with Leslie, JiaWei & ZhengJie and took bus in to Changi Village there and had our lunch there and Area 16 Coordinator called me and asked me where i was cos they're leaving for Pulau Ubin very soon but i haven even bought my lunch and makan sia so told them reaching soon and wait for me awhile but after makan went over to Jetty they already left for Pulau Ubin already cos i already quite late after i makan finish...hahahaha...so bo bian need wait for one school come and follow them in to Ubin lor...waited for quite sometime then Clementi Town Secondary School (CTSS) came so follow them in after tat walked all the way into Campsite then waited for the other schools to come in was already quite late already so everything was delayed for quite sometime then schools all came liao then started with Tent-Pitching and as usual la see many different styles and ways of pitching tents la...end up is alway helping here and there to finish the tent-pitching session...quite fun la i can say...hahaha...[FAST-FORWARD]...debrief time was about 1hr 30mins plus and the debrief at first i didn't wanted to attend cos quite alot debrief was naggy and just talking all on schedule thingy but ended up attending their debrief but wasn't really naggy but did know quite alot of things about different people u're working with and different aspects of looking at things abit lazy to say so paiseh la...hahahaha...slept around 0330hrs at the First Aid Post with 1 casualty inside...hahaaha...FYI: My role in this camp is Assistant Group Instructor but ended up is Assistant First-Aider also la =) My Boss for Group Instructor is called Ian from Anglo-Chinese School [Independent] (ACS[I]) and My Boss or should i say is Lady Boss for First Aid was Philo...hahahaha
Day 2:
Woke up around 0550hrs so me and my first aid lady boss attended their Physical Training (PT) Session and as predicted have quite a number of casualties la...but quite a handful are Chao Keng one la so let them rest a few then chase them back then ended up with 1 or 2 Chao Keng one and a few real one so let them do some hand exercise while the rest went for their jogging then after that chase the Chao Keng one back...hahahhaa...quite fun playing with those Chao Keng cadets looking at their expression is like "Damn, early know dun Chao Keng sia now like more jialat after falling out"...hahaha...[FAST-FORWARD]...Main Cycle activities started and my job was to follow my group but i dun like following group walk here and there so told Camp Coord that need to be First-Aider on Standby so didn't follow group in the end...woohoo...hahaa...1st part of the activities just hang around campsite walking here and there and slacking and even sleeping in First-Aid Post...hahahaha...after lunch went over to observe Water Confidence Jump a.k.a Jetty Jump...stayed there throughout until the Main Cycle activities ended sia...hahaha...still manage to get on boat to have a few minutes of ride...hahahahaha...totally slacker ;D...after that help WenBin and LianYu to keep the Boat then headed back to Noordin to wait for Dinner time...totally slack throughout sia without doing anything...hahaha ;D...after that was Campfire so Lady Boss and Me decided not to join the campfire so just sitted behind to wait for casualties to come find us but ended up Camp Coord came and pull us in to join in but i sitted there until i wan to fall asleep sia so cannot tahan liao get out of the campfire and went to canteen take around 5 packet of Pocari Sweat and 1 bottle of chilled mineral water go back First-Aid Post to make...hahahaha...enjoy life wor...then rest awhile there then after that follow the Sec 2 to go over to Bahru side to see how their camp was like cos my Lady Boss say "she went over see for 10mins feel like coming back Noordin liao" then i went over and see and wat i feel like saying was "i went over see for 10mins i feel like giving comments to those CIs liao"...hahahaha...but i didn't la ended up spent couple of hours over there and see how they run the camp...hahahaha...then around 0015hrs walk back to Noordin with Vincent, Cheryl & Victor Zheng so they went to First-Aid Post and i went to join in the debrief which i was 30mins late...hahahaha...then after awhile debrief ended and went back First-Aid post to chit-chat then fell asleep around 0330hrs yet again in the First-Aid Post with zero casualty but with 5 tired CIs (Philo, Vincent, Cheryl, Victor Zheng & ME) in there...ahhahaaha
Day 3:
Woke up around 0530hrs to bath...hahaha...super freaking cold la the water...shall not say much...hahahaha...then packed my bag then went back to rest awhile then around 0600hrs again went to "supervise" the PT session...hahaha...tis time round not much casualty liao just a few new faces...hahahahha...i keep thinking why yesterday de casualties never fall out today sia but now i know why le maybe because fall out and never fall out also same...hahahaha...so only got 1 Chao Keng casualty with a few real casualties then decided not to let them have extra exercise while the others went for their run...hahahha...after having breakfast was Area-Cleaning...my first ATC tat i did nothing during Area-Cleaning...hahaha...just walking around being cyclops...hahahahaha...just nice after Area-Cleaning it started to rain heavily sia...then the cadets started cheering and enjoying their last part of camp...quite fun watching such things and it triggers me making me feel like joining them but i can't push myself in doing tat...dun know why...hahaha...after tat was photo-taking with groups and then debrief with groups then spoke to my group for the second and also the last time...hahahaha...after that took the van out with all the external instructors then after tat makan at Changi Village Market there then HOME SWEET HOME liao took bus over to grandma house and had a nap over there then woke up but still stoning mode sia...my cousins were chit-chatting then i sat there off mode sia...hahahahha...after tat jiu really HOME SWEET HOME around 2330hrs.
Throughout this whole camp i would say i've learn quite alot of things and also have change the impression of some people tat i somehow do not have good impression about them in the past but still there's one bloody fool that the impression of him i still unable and dun think will change about him...overall my somehow dun feel like going to this camp have change to luckily i did go cos saw many things and is another experiences written and recorded in my NPCC Life ;D
A Short Analogy:
You are the person In-charge of changing tracks for trains at a Y-Junction and from Monday to Saturday the train will alway go to the left and only on Sunday the train will go to the right so on one Sunday there was one group of people playing on the right side of the track then one girl was playing on the left side of the track then you are now the person to choose which side will you change the track to??? Bring the track to the left to save the group of people and sacrifice the girl or bring the track to the right to save the girl and sacrifice the group of people???
This story there's no right or wrong answer to it but is just base on how you look at things when coming to decide whether what is right or what is wrong in our daily life and dealing with things!!!
